Top-down smock-style blouse – lightweight, airy, and elegant

The Jenny Blouse by PetiteKnit is a beautifully airy blouse worked from the top down. The back yoke is first knitted back and forth in a delicate smock pattern with short rows shaping the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up along the top of the yoke to work the shoulders before joining the front and back at the underarm. The body is worked in the round on circular needles, while the sleeves are also worked in the smock pattern in the round, with instructions provided for both decreased and non-decreased versions. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline to create a neat, folded edge.

Knit a swatch and wash it before measuring to ensure the correct gauge.
